The E-Trail DA Retention Manager™ provides clients with the most comprehensive retention policy management system in the industry today. Each electronic communication can have multiple retention policies and/or litigation holds. These policies can be applied either proactively (at the time of archiving) or reactively (at some future date). Each policy assignment is defined using the richest set of email criteria in the industry including not just email metadata but scoped text-based content of the email and/or its attachments as well. Policies can be retroactively modified to adapt to changing regulations and/or modifications to a client’s internal policies. Highlights of E-Trail DA Retention Manager include: Clients can assign one or more retention policies or litigation holds to an email either at the time of capture, or at a later date Retention policies are time-based and can be applied to any set of email that can be defined by a retrieval query, i.e. the richest criteria in the industry today Emails are retained through the most conservative time period when there is more than one policy.
